80W Monocrystalline Folding Solar Panel Kit

80W Curtech portable folding camping solar kit is suitable for charging 12V batteries.

This quality folding solar panel kit has been designed for campers who like easy setup, reliability, peace and quiet. Camping with solar power is clean, quiet and free. NO noise at all.

This Curtech camping solar kit consists of 2 x 40Watt monocrystalline panels producing 4.57Amps of nominal current, LCD water resistant regulator, toughened glass, strong aluminium frame, adjustable support legs, corner covers, Anderson compatible plug, battery leads and clips.

The solar cells used to manufacture the solar panels are German ‘A’ Grade cells. The kits are assembled in China to our specifications and requirements. The sturdy aluminium frame is 35mm wide and has a carry handle and latches attached to the side to hold them closed securely when folded. The corners of both panels are protected with plastic corner covers. Attached to the inside of the frame are two adjustable cast legs with wing nuts for easy height adjustment.

Now with a LCD water resistant regulator that is installed on a swinging bracket to make viewing of the regulator information much clearer and simpler to view. This regulator has some new features which will not only help maintain your battery charge but will also provide you with information so you are in control.

One of the features is the ability not to only show a battery voltage but this regulator will display FUL when the battery is fully charged. It takes the guess work out of knowing if your battery is charged or not. In addition to this, by a simple press of the voltage button the Amps which are being input to your battery will display. By pressing this button again, the accumulated Amps output to your battery will be displayed.

This regulator will not only charge the standard AGM, Gel and Flood batteries it can also charge Calcium Batteries. Very few solar controllers will charge calcium batteries but this one will.

This kit also comes with the ability to bypass the attached regulator and work with other DC to DC products or solar controllers.

Quality 4mm shielded wire with Anderson compatible plugs installed along with sturdy battery clips red (positive) and black (negative) approximately 5m in total length.

Also included is a strong padded Storage/Carry Protective Bag to protect your solar kit when not in use.
