Attaching a solar panel to a vehicle is becoming more popular. This can be done by installing roof racks to your vehicle. A waterproof regulator can be attached to the rear of the panel or a non-waterproof, standard or LCD regulator can be mounted inside the vehicle. The panel is then able to be used to charge an auxiliary battery or the start battery or even both. This is a great idea if you use a fridge in your vehicle.
